Constructed in 1922 by local industrialist Joseph Skinner for his daughter Elisabeth, the Orchards has long been referred to as a perfect gem.

Owned by Mount Holyoke College, today the Orchards sits on the verge of greatness as it prepares to host the largest golfing event for women; The U.S. Women’s Open, July 1-4, 2004.
