Crispy Goat Cheese

  • 3 oz goat cheese
  • 2 egg yolks, lightly beaten
  • Flour
  • Panko (Japanese style bread crumbs)


Form goat cheese into 4 equal-sized patties. Place flour in a shallow bowl, eggs yolks in another bowl, and Panko in a third. Dredge cheese in flour, egg yolk, then in the Panko.

In a medium sized skillet, add 1 inch vegetable oil over medium-high heat. When oil reaches 350 degrees F, add patties and cook both sides for several minutes until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
